The Property

"Villa La Sarelle" is set in grounds of over two acres. Facing south, the property is exposed to the sun all day.

The villa is situated in a peaceful location near the medieval town of Sarlat. Known for centuries as the Perigord Noir, the town dates back to the 9th century and is by far the most important tourist site in the region. This delightful city has a picturesque cathedral and a maze of alleys and squares which are lively throughout the year, especially during the long summer evenings.

"Villa La Sarelle" has electric heating throughout the property, making it suitable for rental all year round.

    

The Accommodation

Lounge & dining area: two large sofas, two armchairs, coffee table, television, video, radio/CD player and a dining table & chairs for eight people. The four bedrooms are accessed via tiled steps in the lounge area.
Covered veranda: from the lounge, two large patio doors (with electric shutters) open onto a covered veranda, with views of the grounds and swimming pool.
Kitchen: spacious kitchen with a gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge/freezer.
Utility room: with a washing machine, an ironing board, a hot water heater and a small fridge.

10 tiled steps lead upstairs from the lounge to two of the bedrooms...
Bedroom 1: this room has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a bath. A patio door opens onto a small veranda overlooking the pool and grounds.
Bedroom 2: this room has twin beds and an en suite shower room. The window overlooks the garden at the side of the property.
Separate WC: with hand basin.

4 tiled steps lead downstairs from the lounge to Bedrooms 3 & 4...
Bedroom 3: this room has a double bed and an en suite shower room. The window overlooks the garden at the side of the property.
Bedroom 4: this room has twin beds and an en suite shower room. The room has a small private terrace which overlooks the swimming pool.

The Grounds

The villa is approached along a private drive. The grounds incorporate mature flowerbeds, lawns and some of the surrounding fields. The covered veranda is equipped with a large table and eight chairs for outside dining.

The swimming pool is 10m x 5m and benefits from the sun all day. The pool's large terrace is well equipped with sunbeds and parasol. To the side of the villa there is a purpose-built barbecue.
