| The Property |
| | "Chez Ashton", situated in Bouffardie, has been built in the local Périgourdine style. The property has beautifully landscaped gardens, spectacular views, a heated swimming pool and air-conditioning in every room. A telephone and an ADSL internet connection are also provided. |
| | The small hamlet of Bouffardie has only a handful of houses, is both private and quiet, but not isolated. The River Dordogne and the village of Cenac-St-Julien are only 3kms away - and Domme and the famous medieval market town of Sarlat are close by. |
| | Cenac-St-Julien is a large village with a post office, a pharmacy, a doctor's surgery, a supermarket, a newsagent's, two boulangeries (one of which is the best in the region), two butcher's shops, a hairdresser's, a garage, a Crédit Agricole bank and a number of cafés and places to eat. There is also an excellent local market every Tuesday, a farm shop selling local produce and a wine merchant's. |

| | "Chez Ashton" is a two-storey villa with four bedrooms - one on the ground floor, three on the first floor. All four bedrooms have air-conditioning and heating. The villa's open-plan lounge also has a dining area, a kitchen area with breakfast bar and three double French windows which open directly onto the terrace. |
| | Downstairs | | Kitchen: the fully fitted kitchen is equipped with an integral oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The electric hob has an extractor fan. Laundry facilities, a washing machine and a tumble dryer are provided in the internal garage, which can be accessed directly from the entrance hall. | | Lounge: the large lounge area is furnished with comfortable seating for eight people, a DVD player and a 42-inch LCD flat-screen HD television with full UK satellite and French TV channels. | | Dining area: the dining area has views of the terrace, the swimming pool and the valley beyond. | | Bedroom 1: this downstairs master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. | | French windows in the lounge open onto a large 100m² terrace which overlooks the swimming pool, the landscaped gardens and the valley beyond. The terrace is equipped with a teak garden table and chairs, sunbeds, two large umbrellas, a gas barbecue and a table tennis table. The lovely gardens of over half an acre are well maintained throughout the season. |
| | At both ends of the terrace, steps lead down to the heated swimming pool, pool terrace and pool shower. The pool has a Roman end with steps for easy access into the water, which is kept at a constant temperature of 28°C. The pool's electrically operated pool cover helps to maintain the water temperature when it is not in use, as well as providing additional security. |
